Learning objectives
The course aims to provide advanced knowledge in problem solving approach and related IT tools, oriented to Economics and Social-Political Sciences.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will be able to apply all the techniques and the methodologies acquired during the course to real cases and they will be able to use all the IT technologies supporting the problem solving approach in decision making.

The course focuses on problem solving approach. The following arguments will be treated: problem solving approach methodologies; IT tools supporting P.S. and practical applications; P.S. and decision making - theory and relationships; creative P.S. - ex. Socio-demographical analysis; strategic P.S. - ex. PIL; algorithmic/Management P.S. - ex. Control applications; the Computational Thinking.
Lessons: theoretical lectures and practical demos.
