Learning objectives
The course aims to present the main roles of the professionals who work in areas where the application of rules for the protection of animal welfare is relevant, with particular reference to animal husbandry and animal research.
Expected learning outcomes
Sudents will acquire knowledge about the application of professional expertise in the field of animal welfare, with reference to the main areas of interest for graduates in ABA and SPA.

- professional figures in the field of animal experimentation
- the protection of fish species
- the role of the competent authority
- role of animal rangers
- welfare of fur animals
- the drawing up of technical reports
- the fundamentals of animal ethics, useful for professional figures engaged in protecting animal welfare
