Course syllabus and organization
Single session
Responsible
Prerequisites for admission
Knowledge on acoustics, anatomy of the larynx, pharynx, oral cavity
Assessment methods and Criteria
The assessment of the acquired knowledge and the ability to apply it will be
through written test with 30 questions for each CFU proposed in different ways: open questions with short answers, closed questions with multiple choice, true / false, associations . The expected duration of the test will be 150 minutes. To access the exam, students must present in advance to the President of the course the narrow band sonogram of a sustained /a/ and the its perturbation analysis, their name and surname with relative indication of the phonemes with IPA symbols.
The assessment criteria are the ability to list and organize the knowledge acquired as well as their application for the resolution of short questions.
The grade will be expressed in thirties and will be the result obtained by the weighted average of the five course. A pre-appeal is scheduled in the winter session (February) for the two modules carried out in the first semester. The pre-appeal marks will contribute to the weighted average of the final evaluation. The results of the pre-appeal and the final test (individual modules and overall assessment) will be communicated to the students by email and / or published on the Ariel Portal, together with the electronic report
