Learning objectives
The educational objective of the course is to develop knowledge relating to the main business management processes; in this perspective the following topics will be covered:
1) the concept of business, legal forms of business, government, business combinations, groups of enterprises and internationalization of companies
2) Control functional areas, business processes, business planning and management
3) the management of the company from an economic and financial aspect through the study of accounting and European and international financial statements

Expected learning outcomes
The student at the end of the course will have acquired the necessary skills to be able to recognize the structure and strategies of the company, to be able to use and read a financial statements to know the processes that led to its drafting

Teaching Unit 1:
The company system and its environment, the legal form of the companies, the social aspects of the company, the corporate government and intercompany and international relations.
Teaching Unit 2:
Functional areas, management processes, business planning and management control
Teaching Unit 3:
Accounting elements (money-sharing, sale of goods, personnel, equity and third-party transactions, rectifying writings, opening and closing writings), merchant and banking technique, operating balance sheet (the drafting and interpretation), overview of budgetary analysis

For students attending, exercises on the accounting part, group work, business cases, seminars are planned during the course of the lessons, seminars are provided in accordance with the normal course of the lessons.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination consists of a written test with multiple choice questions, two short open questions on units 1 and 2, and another on unit 3, but there are no exercises. The open questions are intended to deepen the knowledge and understanding of the topics covered. Closed questions may include questions relating to accounting records. The examination takes place online in the computer classrooms for the total duration of about 1h/1h10min The Ariel page of the course is provided with detailed information including the frequenting test. It is advisable to consult the Ariel page the day before the exam time test.
Students who are not enrolled in the LAM CDL who want to take the exam can write to the teacher for clarification
Note. If the test fails or fails, the student may appear at all subsequent appeals.
There is an intermediate test on units 1 and 2
The intermediate test for frequenters runs until March 2021
The final grade of the attending test is given by the score obtained from the intermediate test - the score of the second test - the score of the tutorials and group work
