Learning objectives
The objective of the course is to introduce the fundamental concepts of modern distributed computing systems, including the operating principles, the service models, the technologies, and the non-functional aspects (e.g., privacy) at the basis of the cloud computing paradigm and microservice architectures.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student shall know the internals of cloud computing environments and microservice architectures, acquiring the ability to manage services and platforms deployed on modern distributed systems with non-functional properties (e.g., privacy) in mind.
