Learning objectives
- To know the principles and the methodology of epidemiological research for health and community promotion
- To acquire the basic principles of medical statistics useful for understanding and producing scientific publications
- To know the fundamental concepts and fields of action of hygiene and preventive medicine
- To Know the rules and practices useful to maintain and promote health in the workplace
- To know the elements and regulations of the existing radiation protection
Expected learning outcomes
- Knowledge and methods to manage care procedures, from data collection to the evaluation of evidence based actions and result, for the person who presents physiological, pathophysiological, pathological manifestations and signs related to the most serious disease states
- Knowledge of the rules and practices to maintain and promote health in the workplace
- To know the principles relating to the prevention and control of hospital and community infections
- To know the therapeutic procedures for the purposes of management, preparation and administration of drugs and monitoring of the relevant related parameters
- Ability to understand and interpret scientific publications

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam will be written. It will mainly consist of multiple choice questions with the addition of some open questions, in addition it will be possible, at the discretion of the teacher, to carry out an additional oral test.
