The class adresses philosophically a contemporary issue, which also projects us towards our close future: what position should we take with regard to artificial intelligence? What relationship does it maintain with human inteligence? What opportunities and what risks rise, as artificial intelligence spreads? Will it help in an unprecedented way the development of human life, or will it rather create a greater power than we can manage, drastically increasing the gap between human beings and the world of their products?
There is no other extra activity or tutorial.
The class is open to all the students from the Masters Programme in Philosophical Sciences and to all the students from all the other Masters courses of the Faculty of Humanities.
