Practical Language Classes (Esercitazioni) - French Ma

Learning objectives
The aim of the esercitazioni (i.e., practical classes added to the course but that do not allow to accrue ECTS), is that students acquire and develop written, oral, interaction and mediation skills, in accordance with levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR) and its subsequent revisions and updates.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected result in terms of applied competence is the achievement of the level specified for every year for all linguistic-communicative activities: reception (listening and reading), production of written and oral texts, interaction and mediation. The entrance level is detailed in the Prerequisites (none), while the expected goal is detailed in the Syllabus. Students are expected to spend time on self-study to prepare for classes and to review and consolidate work done in class.

Written expression: Taking notes
Taking notes is a way of collecting information and summarising it. The students write down the essential elements as quickly as possible, making choices and deciding without hesitation. They will take notes from an oral or written source, developing skills for the future working environment.
Oral expression: presentation related to a type of text
Building a speech according to different types of text is the task that students have to know how to do. The academic language, the standard language, the language of the media, the spoken language and some forms of argot will ne analyzed.

Course syllabus
To be able to present orally a topic related to the French and Francophone world in order to enrich the knowledge of the language and culture of the countries studied. To know the terminology related to certain professional fields and to know how to make a synthesis from different sources of information.
