Learning objectives
The course provides knowledge in the aspects of rugby and methodologies for teaching it; the essential parameters of efficacy for a constructive training session or an exercise; psychomotor activities for young players based on their stage of motor development; behaviors and attitudes conducive to learning; techniques of error correction; methods of observation for evaluation of the efficiency of a player's performance during matches; organizational aspects of a match/event; training of new technicians for developing club activities.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will acquire skills in the organization and management of planning activities for the promotion and development of a club and in schools. Students will acquire skills in organizing promotional activities for introducing young children (aged 6-14 years) to rugby, in creating a training pathway that meets players' needs, a guide for a team under 6-8-10-12 in federation-supported activities and an assistant to a trainer of level 1 or level 2 of the Italian Rugby Federation in the organization of a team of players under 14, under 16, and under 18.
