Learning objectives
The course provides knowledge on
-train instructors and coaches who can plan and lead Flag and Tackle Football lessons and/or practices
-learn to use and adapt aspects of American Football in order to develop skills of different sports disciplines, too
-clarify the role of the game and the referee as essential part of the game
-learn the basic techniques of teaching/coaching a game which includes significant differences of roles and a high number of players
-learn how to appreciate and promote individual skills according to the characteristics of the different roles
Expected learning outcomes
Students will acquire the follow competences:

-collect the information about the participants properly
-identify the aims of the course
-create a common language which can be understandable by the whole group
-join and lead a group structured as a team which accepts different roles and cooperates in case of necessity in order to reach the individual and collective success
-plan teaching units which lead to the acquisition of the basic technical elements of different roles
-plan and lead American Football lessons or training according to different features such as age or abilities of the players
- organise and lead potential games or tournaments

Brief story for American Football and its diffusion in Italy and Europe
Football skills: running and tackling, passing and catching
Drills and games for subject of any age and level
The basic rules of the American Football
The difference roles of the Am. Foot.
Passing game: the correct technique of passing and catching the ball; the route tree and their combinations.
Base individual and team concepts against passing game
QB - RB exchange: handoff, pitch, toss
Running the football: read and react
The tackle form: a new approach to reduce injury risks
The offensive line: pass protection and running game
The defensive line and the linebackers: front and tecniques
The special teams
The strength and conditioning for the American Football
The combine Test
Scouting and game plan
A Flag Football Game: 5 vs 5, no contact and a lot of fun.

It's not required previous specific knowledge
