Learning objectives
The teaching workshop aims to study some ancient greek texts recently discovered by means of papyri, byzantine manuscripts, epigraphical as well as iconographical sources.
Expected learning outcomes
The course aims to develop the knowledge of the methods and the bibliography, which are necessary to study newly discovered texts on papyri, byzantine manuscripts and epigraphical sources.

Course syllabus
During the course some newly discovered texts (from papyri, byzantine manuscripts and epigraphical sources) will be read and explained in their material context, and in their relationship with some iconographical sources.
Prerequisites for admission
Knowledge of ancient greek is requested.
Teaching methods
Frontal lessons; discussion with the students; individual works or team works by the students.
Teaching Resources
The reference editions of the texts will be provided by the teacher.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The regular attendance by the students as well as the results of the their work will be verified.
