Learning objectives
The Workshop aims to provide theoretical and practical skills related to the use of the audiovisual medium as a tool for field research and reflection on communication and information management in an intercultural context. In particular, the Workshop aims to provide the student with practical tools (depending on the edition, production and/or post-production: storyboard writing, outdoor video shooting, studio interviews, editing, subtitling) that can be spent in order to make a critical analysis of the contemporary world, comparing elements of differentiation and similarity between different cultural or social systems, and have an impact on society.
Expected learning outcomes
The course aims to achieve the following learning outcomes: acquisition of the ability to operate a theoretical framework and a typological analysis. Technical skills: production design; audiovisual shooting techniques; exercises and practice in the field; vision and analysis of materials; archive research; editing hypothesis; possible subtitling; communication and dissemination of the product (strategies).
