Learning objectives
The Territory Economics course aims to provide the student with the principles of neoclassical and environmental economics. The recent events that marked the new millennium have witnessed an aggravation of poverty in the world, a progressive reduction of natural resources, an increase in pollution and global warming. These surrounding have changed the paradigms of the neoclassical economy and redesigned new development models. The course aims to provide useful elements of comparison with the various disciplines of the humanities area.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the student knows: the fundamental principles of neoclassical economics - the main elements of analysis of the environment / economy interconnection - the different bibliographic resources of the topics, declined among the different and varied formulations available today.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the student is able to: - "navigate" correctly in the areas of general and environmental economics - apply what has been learned during the course in the interdisciplinary debate having as reference also the environmental economic sector applied to the various world reference scenarios - apply the methods of comparative analysis learned in the context of research and comparisons using appropriate vocabulary and narratives.

The course will address the following topics:
Basic Economy: Need, well, utility; Consumer surplus; Use value, exchange value and value of estimate;
Income and annuity; Production, consumption and production activities; Production factors; Company,
business and integration; Economic operators and corporate net product; Concrete entrepreneur and
incomenet; Company capitals; Production cost; Laws of production; Localization theories e agricultural
activities; Culture and economic development; Market, economies of scale and price formation; Use of
capital, investments.
Evaluation of environmental and cultural heritage: estimative method; The five principles of the estimate;
Estimate of values of economic goods; Public and private goods; Value of use and non-use; Total economic
value; Methodology for quantifying the value of environmental and cultural heritage.

Written with 4 open questions for both attending and non-attending students.
The examination ascertains the knowledge of students on the topics of the program, with
