Learning objectives
The objectives of the course are that of: teaching students how to read images and how to design visual artifacts; make them aware of the fact that every visual message of our cultural horizon can be analyzed from a logical-rational point of view according to several features: hierarchy of information, layout of the forms according to the organizational principles analyzed by the psychology of gestalt, color choices, use of typography.
Expected learning outcomes
The student should be able to produce communication projects through three design exercises of increasingly complexity: designing a logo, designing a font, designing a coordinated image of a cultural institution.
