Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with a critical insight into the main issues of Ital-ian Administrative law, with particular reference to the influence exercised by the Eu-ropean legal system on our traditional legal categories.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be required to demonstrate the following skills: - Understanding and analysis of topics addressed in the course; - Technical expertise on more complex legal issues than those dealt with during the basic course of Administrative Law; - Capacity for critical reasoning and awareness of the complexity of the studied topics and of the relativity of the conclusions achieved in the doctrinal or jurisprudential context.

Course syllabus
The programme covers central themes of Italian Administrative law: from the sources of law (including supranational ones), to subjective legal positions, to administrative measures, to public contracts, to legal protection of damages, to justice.
In this manner, the course, revisiting the main concepts learned during the basic course of Administrative law, aims to provide a more advanced level of knowledge of the subject and of its most current issues.
Particular emphasis will be placed both on the influence of EU law and ECHR case law on our traditional legal categories and on the connecting points between public and private law.
No specific programmes for Erasmus students are envisaged.

As provided in the educational regulations of the degree course, it is necessary to have passed the following examinations: Private law; Constitutional law; Administrative law.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Attendance is optional.

The final mark will be determined after passing an oral test.
During the oral test, the clarity and linearity of the exposition, the capacity for reasoning and critical analysis of the selected subjects, the competence in the use of specialist vocabulary will be specifically evaluated.
