Learning objectives
Learn the basics of plant pathogens, their biology, infection modalities, epidemiology, diagnosis, damage and means of control. To know the fundamental characteristics of the pathogens of forage plants, of the diseases they cause and of the possibility of contamination by mycotoxins within the agro-zootechnical chain. Acquire the awareness of the role of the correct management of plant diseases as a tool to guarantee access to food resources on a global scale.
Expected learning outcomes
Learn to correctly and sustainably recognize the main plant diseases of forage plants. Ability to implement the means of control necessary to minimize contamination by mycotoxins in agro-zootechnical productions.
