Learning objectives
The course helps students to gain skills and abilities that will be useful in their future professions. In particular, students will learn to do legal researches, to identify the relevant problems and find the appropriate solution and to write legal acts.
The Clinic makes the students aware of the social function of the law, developing their sensitivity concerning social justice problems.

Course syllabus and organization

Lesson period
Second semester
The lessons will take place on Microsoft Teams in synchronous mode, at the established times, and will be recorded and available on the same platform and on the ARIEL website of the course. Information on how to access Microsoft Teams lessons and other instructional instructions will be uploaded to the course's ARIEL website, which is recommended to be consulted regularly.
If the health situation allows it, in compliance with the regulations in force, lessons could also be held in the classroom (mixed mode), also considering the small size of the class. In this case, the students will be promptly informed and notified via the ARIEL website of the course.
In any case, the lessons will be recorded and left available to students for the duration of the semester.
Checking assignements will take place orally on the Microsoft Teams platform.
If the health situation allows it, compatibly with the availability of the classrooms and compliance with the necessary safety conditions, checking assignements could be held in the classroom.
However, the possibility of remote connection will be ensured for students who are unable to move from their place of residence.
More precise information and updates will be available on the Ariel website of the course, which is therefore good to consult regularly.
Course syllabus
The program is strictly linked to Criminal Law Clinic program, as it is a deepening of the main Course.
Throughout this teaching, the students can study in depth the legal questions arising during the clinical activity, preparing a procedural document or writing a paper for a law review.
Prerequisites for admission
Access to this course is reserved only for students of the Legal Clinic Course and therefore the same propedeutics are required .
Teaching methods
As for the Criminal Law Clinic Course, also this teaching offers the opportunity to experience a 'learning by doing' approach.

Considering the specific features of the course there is not a text-book, but specific material may be used for dealing with the assigned cases.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The education credits will be attributed if the assigned task is carried out.
