Learning objectives
The course is aimed at providing the students explanatory elements concerning the technological innovation and its effects on the current regulation. In detail the analysis will focus on the role of digital platforms, systems of automated decision and the increasing influence of AI on the decision making of private and public bodies. Moreover it will highlight the necessary reshaping of the legal categories in a digitalised environment.
Expected learning outcomes
The main goal is strengthening the students' assessment ability with regard to the present world-wide experiences and especially the role of the new technologies as well as their advantages and criticism. As for the teaching method the course will be carried out trough cases and leaded discussions in order to promote students' improvements in understanding and speaking ability.
