A possible medical emergency will affect the course as follows:
1) Programme and reference material: no change. If part of the exam material is not available, due to the closure of libraries or to the suspension of shipping by publishers, the teacher will make alternative material available on the site Ariel of the area involved and on the Microsoft Teams platform (file section) together with a file of explanations about it (Extraordinary Programme).
2) Modalities of of teaching and didactic methods: lessons in presence will be replaced with two complementary modalities of online teaching, synchronous and asynchronous. Every content of the course will be proposed in recorded PowerPoint presentations with audio uploaded to the site Ariel of the area involved and to the Microsoft Teams platform (file section) in correspondence of the lessons' timetable.
Periodically - about once every two lessons provided in the outlined asynchronous form - a synchronous lesson on the Microsoft Teams platform will be held following the regular timetable of the course.
During this lesson the students' questions will be answered and any further information will be provided; questions might be asked live, both during these lessons, and in advance on the chat of the forum that will be activated on Ariel.
These synchronous lessons will be recorded and will remain available for the students in the repository of the platform or in Ariel.
The calendar of the synchronous and asynchronous lessons will be published on Ariel as soon as an emergency starts; any organisational communication will be found on the site.
All recorded lessons and uploaded PowerPoint presentations will be available for the full academic year, until the exam sessions of January - February 2022.
3) Modalities of the verification of learning. The exams will be held orally on the Teams platform.
