Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination consists of three parts: a written and two oral parts, all mandatory. The two oral tests are held during the same session: the exam begins with a conversation in German with the mother tongue teacher about the readers in the programme and it continues with an interview in Italian with the professor about the contents of the monographic course, which includes checking the knowledge of the vocabulary of the examples and texts analyzed.
The oral part can be taken only after passing the written one. All tests are evaluated in 30ths. The recorded grade will be unique and will be the one resulting from the average of the three grades.
The written exam differs according to whether the students are attending the courses or not.
- Students not attending:
The B1 level written text can be attended in may, september and january, starting with may 2021. All details of the exercises required at the written exam will be given in Ariel. The examination is passed if all required tests reach the grade 18/30.
- Students attending:
If students actively participate in at least 75% of the esercitazioni, they have access to the partial tests that take place at the end of each semester. The final grade of this written part will be the average of the two partial tests, both of which must be sufficient in all their parts. In the event of failure or refusal of this grade, the students can take the total written examination for not attending students. Students who refuse the grade must notify their decision to the professor by e-mail promptly, and in any case before the total written exam takes place.
International students or incoming Erasmus students are invited to contact the teacher as soon as possible. The examination procedures for students with disabilities and/or with DSA must be agreed with the teacher, in agreement with the competent office.
