Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the essential historical knowledge and methodological perspectives for the in-depth study of contemporary art researches, from late XIX c. till today, focused on the relationships between language and image.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding: In-depth knowledge of the main tendencies and the most important authors in the field of intermedial experiments between word and image in XX c. avantgarde art.
Applying knowledge and understanding: Acquiring historiographic perspectives and methods, as well as critical skills for the study, the analysis and the interpretation of text-image artistic researches.
