Learning objectives
At the end of the Course, Students will be able:
1. to know the general organization of organs and systems of the human body
2. to describe and explain the microscopical features of the different organs, useul for the study of physiologi and pathology
Expected learning outcomes
Students will know the normal microscopic features of the main organs with the aim of recognize and understand pathological abnormalities.

Prerequisites for admission
Students should know the basic structure of the cell.
Teaching methods
Frontal lessons assisted by visual tools.
Practical exercitation with microscopic slides and with 3D models.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam will consist in:
∙ a written quiz (40 questions with five answers each) in a written form including all the topics listed in the program. Student will pass the exam if the exact quiz are more than 12 and the errors in the answers are less than 56. The test will encompass all the items of the Course Syllabus.
∙ a description and diagnosis of a microscopic sample.
Students should have a positive ranking in both tests at the end of each session (february, june-july, september) otherwise they should restart the examination during the following session.
The oral test is not compulsory.
All the results will be published on Ariel platform.
