Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the cultural tools to be able:
To acquire knowledge on health and social management and on economic, organizational ground;
To acquire knowledge on labour and private law considering in particular citizens' right and judicial order;
To acquire knowledge of national and European legislation on health and social security;
To acquire knowledge of foundations of legislation of labour, social security, worker's right;
To acquire the ability to participate to the activities organized by district and hospital departments, in particular in health planning;
To acquire the ability to participate to the process of health care evaluation and improvement, measuring the customer's satisfaction;
To acquire the ability to use information and communication tools to interact with users groups.
Expected learning outcomes
Know the foundations of the private law;
Know the foundations of legislation of labour, social security, worker's right;
Know the foundations of health care evaluation;
effectively popularise science concepts both in written and oral form;
Know the complexity of health care management in the framework of the challenges the national health service is facing;
Know the foundations of professional responsibility in the health care field.

The exam is held for all modules of the integrated course on the same day.

Applied medical techniques
Course syllabus
The protection of citizens' rights and the transparency of the P.A. as a new LEA: obligations and duties of the Healthcare and Social Healthcare Organization in terms of organization, action and communication of services to citizens.
Right of access to the 'glass house': how to exercise this right and balance between limits and protection of the privacy of health and socio-health data.
Organized forms of protection of citizens' rights: the ombudsman, the Public Relations Office (URP), the Public Protection Office (UPT), civic access and FOIA, E-government and digital transparency and the role of the Health Assistant.
The strategic role of protection foreseen by Presa in Carico (LR 23/2015) and the role of the Health Assistant.
Organized forms of protection of worker well-being: CUG, Workplace Health Promotion - Network of Companies that promote health (WHP) and the role of the Health Assistant.
Educational objectives:
Acquire the ability to participate in initiatives about evaluating and improving the quality of health services performance, especially by detecting user satisfaction levels.
Acquire the ability to participate in activities organized in departmental form, both district and hospital, with functions of inter-professional connection, with particular regard to health planning.

Forensic medicine
Course syllabus
The didactic module aims to provide knowledge about professional liability in the field of health with particular regard to informed consent, cause-and-effect relationship in Forensic Medicine, "state of necessity", interdiction, incapacitation, supporting administration, negligence, imprudence, inexperience, professional secrecy, end-of-life related topics (do-not-resuscitate order and ordinance number 207, November 16th, 2018, of the Constitutional Court).

In respect of the time available, some knowledge about forensic psychopathology and criminology of domestic violence will also be delivered.
Theoretical aspects will be more comprehensive by adding several case studies (decisions in the matter of responsibility, clinical cases, forensic reports).
