Learning of educational and teaching methods for the History of Art

Knowledge and understanding: knowledge of the main techniques for teaching art history in high schools.

Applying knowledge and understanding: Acquiring skills and methods for the organization and presentation of artistic and historical contents to students.

Course syllabus and organization

Lesson period
Second semester
The lessons will take place in a mixed mode: two weekly lessons in presence (recorded and disseminated online for the benefit of students who will not be able to participate in person) and a weekly lesson in remote mode (mainly in asynchronous form on Ariel or in synchronous form on Teams ), according to the calendar that will be published, as usual, on the EasyLessons platform and on the Ariel teaching website.
Students will be able to find all the information to access classroom or online lessons, any changes to the program and any variations of the reference material (bibliography, etc.) on the Ariel teaching website.

If it is not possible to carry out the exam according to the modalities provided in the Syllabus, the exam can be carried out electronically with the modalities that will be communicated on the Ariel teaching website at the end of the course.

Title
How to do an exhibition. History and current events

Subject
Today the offer of exhibitions is very discussed. The lessons will provide a key to understanding the exhibition systems (XX-XXI Century).

Prerequisites for admission
Knowledge of the History of Modern Art, acquired in Magistrale and Specialistica.

Knowledge of the basic concepts of historical chronology and main movements of Italian and European literature and culture is recommended. Classes are in Italian language.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Oral: The oral test, which takes place in Italian, consists of an interview on the topics presented in class and on the required readings. An essential condition to pass the exam is the knowledge of the Italian language.
