Learning objectives
The primary objective of the course is to teach an experimental approach to the measurements in the field of radioactivity, of spectroscopy and imaging techniques. Students are driven through the use of laboratory technology to artwork analysis and to the preparation of laboratory reports.
Expected learning outcomes
Experimental skills in the use of instrumentation for the determination of radioactivity from calibrated sources and natural materials and of use of detectors for imaging in different spectral bands. Ability to manage elaboration and representation of experimental data acquired through the different laboratory instruments.
