Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will have acquired the necessary knowledge to understand the different pathological conditions and to formulate a diagnosis from a nutritional point of view and a nutritional therapy for the different pathologies treated, which concern:
the conditions of malnutrition due to excess and defect; the most common pathological conditions of the cardiovascular system, dyslipidemias and hypertension, of the renal, gastrointestinal, respiratory systems, chronic degenerative diseases such as diabetes and hyperuricemia, oncological pathologies, food allergies and intolerances, neuromuscular pathologies, the eating disorders, the specific diet therapy approach for epilepsy (ketogenic) and some hereditary metabolic pathologies and, for each one, the relative dietary approaches that allow the formulation of adequate diets.
They will have acquired the ability to deepen and update their knowledge drawing on the scientific literature and guidelines for the nutritional treatment of the various diseases treated.
