Strabismus and Orthoptic Treatment (I)
A.Y. 2020/2021
Learning objectives
The pathophysiologic basics of misalignment of the visual axes will be analyzed and systematically classified to allow the student to the classification of the most common abnormalities of the statics and dynamics of the eye and of amblyopia. Basing on previous knowledge of pathophysiology will be taught the semeiologic techniques apt to identify and diagnose oculomotor alterations and the main pictures of strabismus in all age groups.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will be able, at the end of the course, to make a proper diagnosis of amblyopia and of major oculomotor abnormalities and of the main forms of strabismus.
Lesson period: First semester
Assessment methods: Esame
Assessment result: voto verbalizzato in trentesimi
Single course
This course cannot be attended as a single course. Please check our list of single courses to find the ones available for enrolment.
Course syllabus and organization
