Learning objectives
- Identifying the main objectives, priorities, implementation phases and result indexes of the rehabilitation program.
- Planning the rehabilitation program, with attention in diversifying the intervention in its re-educational, assistance and educational methods.
- Defining the intervention methodology and organize the right setting for the objectives.
- Analyzing the rationale of therapeutic exercises.
- Implementing the therapeutic program by the right techniques (psychomotor, neuro-motor, neurocognitive ones).
- Defining strengths and limits of the intervention.
- Presenting a clinical case in written and verbal form.
- Developing critical and job verification skills.
- Participating in the activities of the operational context (reliability, availability, initiative and sensitivity to the interdisciplinary team work).
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student must:
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the observed experiences.
- ddevelop skills to apply knowledge in terms of identification of rehabilitation goals and implementation of the therapeutic program for neurodevelopment disorders (neuro-motor, neuro-cognitive and psychopathological problems).
- develop technical and clinical skills for the intervention process.

During the emergency period, lessons will take place remotely asynchronously with some events in synchronously using MS Teams platform and some in physical presence.
In any case, students will be able to access the lessons and teaching material even remotely.

The program and reference material will not change.

The exams will be done in the modalities specified in the "Assessment methods and Criteria" form. As per the Rector's decree of 31 July 2020, the written part of the exams will be done in presence, guaranteeing international students, out-of-the-region students and those affected by serious diseases the possibility to do the written exam remotely, even in a different date. The oral part of the exam will be done remotely, as for the Rector's decree of 31 July 2020.

Knowledge of the typical and atypical neurodevelopment and of the related methodology for observation and evaluation of functions and participation.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Written and oral exam: discussion of case reports (functional observation, neuro and psychomotor profile, objectives and intervention program), in-depth questions on the theory supporting the observations (methodology of observation and evaluation, methodology and planning of the intervention program )
Evaluation of internship relationships
The student must perform a neuro and psychomotor observation of the functional profile of a child and draw up the program for the rehabilitation intervention.
The correctness of the observations, the terminology, the ability to synthesize and to correlate the observations with the theoretical knowledge of reference are evaluated.
The evaluation is expressed in thirtieths.
