Learning objectives
The course aims to offer a scientific, technical and regulatory overview on the issue of environmental permits, offering participants the most up-to-date knowledge in the sector. Professional practice cannot be limited to a mere execution of normative precepts, but must be supported by a scientific knowledge of observed and measured phenomena; the technical-scientific aspect underlying the legislative aspects will be treated with particular attention. The topics dealt with, although still neglected by some Public Administrations, are now the subject of current legislation and need to be respected. Target of the course is the development of knowledge to train a figure specialized in environmental authorizations, which appears to be a high social value support for both companies and programs to safeguard natural ecosystems and human health from air pollution phenomena, water and acoustic. Supporting small and medium-sized businesses, which need qualified help to effectively meet the requirements of the new environmental protection regulations, as environmental permits are a highly relevant scientific-technical area.
Expected learning outcomes
The target is to train professional figures able to interact with consolidated and emerging needs of companies regarding environmental certifications and authorizations.
The issue of environment protection is becoming increasingly important in professional practice based on new national and European regulations. It is therefore necessary to train new figures capable of interacting with the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and with the evolution of the procedures and obligations of productive activities towards the Public Administration, in terms of pollution reduction and environmental protection.
Many of the newest environmental standards, to which SMEs must comply, need professionals to support companies, guide them and guide them correctly. Today there is no training course able to train specialists with specific and operational skills in this field. The Environmental Impact Study and Procedure Course aims to fill this gap.
