Learning objectives
To manage ICT systems on machinery for the site-specific distribution of input to crops according to precision farming principle.
To understand and evaluate the applicability of site-specific solutions for crop protection. To apply precision agriculture concepts to define prescription maps for the distribution of plant protection products.
Expected learning outcomes
To apply methods and sensors to monitor the phytosanitary status of crops. To apply plant pathology and crop protection basic principles to process site-specific data for prescribing maps of agrochemical distribution.
Ability to manage, interface, program the precision farming systems on operating machines for crop management.
