Learning objectives
"The learning objectives aim to support the students with methods and tools for:
1) applying the acquired knowledge and make decisions to effectively solve complex problems or situations in their field of study;
2) collecting and analyzing data to make independent professional judgments;
3) activating an effective communication on clinical, social, scientific or ethical issues relevant to their profile;
4) learning independently."
Expected learning outcomes
"At the end of the course, the students must be able to:
1) identify health needs and carry out prevention activities for individuals and the community, both in health conditions and with disability problems;
2) promoting the actions necessary to maintain the state of health also in the educational field;
3) contribute, through their specific professional skills, to the identification of potentially risky situations, with particular reference to early life, and to the development of actions to prevent atypical development paths in preschool and school age and specific protection factors towards neurodevelopment disorders;
4) carry out a functional dynamic evaluation through the observation of neuropsychomotor development and the examination of functions in order to investigate the interrelationship between affective functions, cognitive functions, sensory functions and motor functions for each individual neurological, neuropsychological, sensorineural and psychopathological disorder of the evolutionary age;
5) conducting an autonomous and methodologically rigorous learning path in the context of clinical and / or bibliographic design and research, which contributes to the completion of their professional and scientific training relating to issues strictly related to the professional profile."
Course syllabus and organization

The dissertation discussion sessions will take place in person or remotely, according to the indications that will be provided by the university, taking into account the health situation of the country.
In the case of remote discussion, the MS Teams platform will be used; the student will illustrate the contents of his thesis by sharing a presentation document with the commission (for example in MS Power Point).
In the event of a discussion in person, the necessary precautions will be taken to ensure social distancing.

Prerequisites for admission
To be admitted it is necessary to have acquired all the credits deriving from teaching activities and from passing exams. It is also necessary to have prepared a thesis work under the supervision of the supervisor. Before submitting the degree application, it will also be necessary to obtain the approval of the president of the degree course.
