Prerequisites for admission
No preliminary knowledge is required
Teaching methods
Lessons and exercises will be made with the help of Powerpoint presentations. The files of these latter will be available on the Ariel site of the course.
Attendance to lessons is highly recommended.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The learning will be verified by a three-hour written test on all the topics of the course. The test will be comprised of five open questions on general chemistry and three stoichiometry exercises. The exam is passed with a score at least of 18/30 in both parts. Wheter the student fails one of the parts, but the grade point average is 18/30, there will be an oral exam to recover.
The aim of the exam is to evaluate both the learning of chemical concepts, and the problem solving and reasoning skills of the student.
