Practical Language Classes (Esercitazioni) - German

Learning objectives
The aim of the esercitazioni (i.e., practical classes added to the course but that do not allow to accrue ECTS), is that students acquire and develop written, oral, interaction and mediation skills, in accordance with levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR) and its subsequent revisions and updates.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected result in terms of applied competence is the achievement of the level specified for every year for all linguistic-communicative activities: reception (listening and reading), production of written and oral texts, interaction and mediation. The entrance level is detailed in the Prerequisites (none), while the expected goal is detailed in the Syllabus. Students are expected to spend time on self-study to prepare for classes and to review and consolidate work done in class.

In addition to the basic grammar already learned in the first year, students will have to master the following morpho-syntactic structures: declension and comparison of the adjective and participle as an attribute; complements and syntagms of place and time; regency of verbs; subordinate sentences; prepositional and adverbial syntagms; syntagms with genitive; collocations and Funktionsverbgefüge; infinitives; regular and irregular forms of preterite; verbs with prepositions and prefix; names, adjectives and adverbs with prepositions and prefix; passive; conjunctive.
The practical classes are divided into a group of students who attended the intermediate-advanced classes in the first year, and two groups of students who were beginners in the first year, divided by surname: group A (A-L), group B (M-Z).

In addition to the basic grammar already learned in the first year, students will have to master the following morpho-syntactic structures: declension and comparison of the adjective and participle as an attribute; complements and syntagms of place and time; regency of verbs; subordinate sentences; prepositional and adverbial syntagms; syntagms with genitive; collocations and Funktionsverbgefüge; infinitives; regular and irregular forms of preterite; verbs with prepositions and prefix; names, adjectives and adverbs with prepositions and prefix; passive; conjunctive.
