Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with a systemic vision of livestock buildings design, basic knowledge about machines, plants, automated systems, in order to achieve structural and plant skills to meet regulatory, environmental, ethological, business and social requirements of traditional and modern livestock farming.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to identify the housing structures, the main machines, plants and automatic systems, adopted and that can be used in livestock farming, assessing their efficiency from structural, plant-management, economic, ethological and environmental point of view.
