Learning objectives
The course aims to deepen the knowledge of grammar, the acquisition of more advanced morphosyntactic structures and to improve and expand students' vocabulary (as specified in the programme modules 1, 2 and 3), in everyday and specialized areas, such as tourism business, in accordance with the Degree objectives. The learner is expected to achieve the communicative skills and knowledge required for B1/B1+ level of the Common European Framework.
The ability to communicate in Russian in formal and semiformal contexts and in the touristic sphere will be further developed.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the third year the student will have a thorough and advanced knowledge of Russian morphosyntax (numerals, participles, verbal adverbs, verbs of motion, verb aspects, here included special uses of aspect). The learner will get a general idea of the complex sentence and expand the vocabulary to the level B1 of the European framework. Skills: at the end of the third year the student will be able to understand complex texts, written and oral, and interact in conversations with natives on various themes.

The Verbal Adverb: Features of the Verbal Adverb, Formation and Use: a) Verbal Adverbs from Imperfective Verbs, b) Verbal Adverbs from Perfective Verbs;
