Learning objectives
The archaeological excavation of advanced level strengthens technical-professionalizing tools acquired in the archaeological excavation of basic level. The main goal of the laboratory is to enable students to find employment in archaeological excavation fields as skilled worker at the end of the training course..
Expected learning outcomes
The laboratory teaches students how to produce graphic and photographic documentation of archaeological evidence and how to use optical and electronic equipment for topographical relief, such as total station and theodolite.

Course syllabus
In 2022 the excavation (September-October) provides for the continuation of the excavation of the L environment (essay W).The problems of the excavation will be illustrated to the students; will be taught how to create the graphic and photographic documentation of archaeological emergencies and how to use topographic tools, such as the total station and theodolite; lectures on ceramic materials will be held.

Prerequisites for admission
It is necessary that the students have already carried out the didactic archaeological excavation laboratory, so they must have excavation experiences.
Teaching methods
Preliminary meetings are scheduled with frontal lessons on safety on the excavation and on the history of Jazzo, in University, and then lessons in the field, directly on the excavation site.
