In particular, the following perspectives will be addressed:
- elements of history of TV radio
- elements of media discourse analysis
- elements of media anthropology
- analysis of audiences
- analysis of radio and television professionalism

Assessment methods and Criteria
It is possible to choose to do the final exam in two different ways, chosen by the student and equivalent to the evaluation.
MODALITY A: paper+oral discussion
Students will have to submit a written paper (approximately 4500-5000 words) on a topic of their choice agreed with the teacher, starting from the topics covered in the course. The paper must be submitted to the teacher at least 10 days before the date of the exam. The evaluation of the paper will be followed by a short interview that will take its cue from the issues raised by the paper and will range over topics covered in the program.
The topic of the paper will be determined towards the middle of the course.
MODALITY B: oral interview
The oral interview will consist of a discussion of the materials on the syllabus: bibliography, slides, lecture content, audio-video examples covered in class.
STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES and/or DSAS
Examination procedures for students with disabilities and/or with DSA must be agreed with the teacher, in accordance with the competent Office.
INTERNATIONAL/ERASMUS STUDENTS
International or Erasmus incoming students are invited to promptly contact the teacher in charge of the course. The final exam (Mode A or B) may be conducted in English, subject to contact with the teacher.
