· Lesson 1. Introduction to the course: justice in the health sector
· Lesson 2. Theories of justice in healthcare/1: libertarianism, secular proceduralism and utilitarianism.
· Lesson 3. Theories of justice in the health sector/2: fair equality of opportunity and egalitarianism of fate.
· Lesson 4. Theories of justice in the health sector/3: prioritarianism and sufficientarism
· Lesson 5. Macro-allocative and micro-allocative problems in healthcare
· Lesson 6. Allocative criteria and decision-making in the health sector/1: clinical appropriateness, the lottery system, the age criterion
· Lesson 7. Allocating criteria and decision-making in healthcare/2: QALYs
· Lesson 8 Allocative criteria and decision-making in the healthcare sector/2: the role of merit and personal responsibility in the allocation of healthcare resources

Teaching methods
The teaching of the laboratory "Autonomy and relationships in personal care. From the individualistic model to the relational approach" includes lectures in which the presentation of the theoretical material will be accompanied by the discussion of clinical cases. An interactive approach will be proposed and student engagement in the discussion will be encouraged.

The final exam will consist of an oral discussion, consisting in one general question and a discussion on a topic chosen by the student.
