Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam consists of a written test of two hours which allows a maximum of 30 points. The written exam requires usually the solution of four exercises which are of the same level as those discussed in the lectures. There are two partials (in the middle and at the end) for students who attend the lectures regularly; passing these partials is equivalent to passing the exam. Besides the partials there are five exam sessions. If the exam is on-line, there might also be an oral exam.
