Regions and Local Administrations in Integrated Health, Social and Socio-Health Policies

The workshop aims at investigating the evolution of the Italian health system by highlighting, on the one hand, the recent organizational and governance transformations and, on the other, the socio-health integration processes. In this context, particular attention will be dedicated to the interventions connected with the implementation of the PNRR. During the classes, different regional models will also be compared. In particular, by comparing Lombardy and Tuscany regional health systems, it will be possible to highlight and discuss the common trends and the dynamics of differentiation. The workshop is articulated in lectures, presentations and discussions of real cases.

At the end of the workshop, the student will be able to recognize and frame the Italian health system's characteristics and read and interpret the main challenges connected with the socio-health integration processes at the regional level.
