Learning objectives
The workshop aims to develop an experience of collaboration between the university and the jail, through a multidisciplinary approach, on a topic of great cultural relevance. The class will consist of an equal number of students and inmates of Bollate prison. There will be opportunities not only for shared reflection and in-depth study, but also for personal and group writing.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge of some main historical, literary and artistic chapters dealing with the specific topic of the year workshop. Extension of the didactic experience to a class group including an audience housed in a detention facility. Activation of a greater awareness of the peculiar character of the prison environment as a ground for reflection and study.

Course syllabus
The 2022-23 laboratory is focused on the experience of Time, in language, myth, literature, art and will take place inside the Bollate jail. Weekly frontal lessons of about 45 minutes will deal with some fundamental aspects of the representation and conception of time from antiquity to contemporaneity. The debate, to follow, must be intended as an indispensable part of the lesson. The first lesson will be given by the person in charge of the workshop, while the following lessons will be given by various professors who will present the themes proposed in the light of their individual disciplinary specificities. A final lesson will conclude the cycle of lessons, at the same time allowing the class group a further moment of shared reflection.
