Expected learning outcomes
The workshop aims to develop the following skills:
Critical thinking skills:
By the end of the workshop, students will display a sufficiently independent critical approach in selecting and interpreting the notions that are most relevant their area of study and to the broader socio-cultural context in which they operate
Communication skills:
By the end of the workshop:
- students will be able to effectively communicate the acquired knowledge and disseminate it to the general public;
- student will have developed basic IT skills concerning knowledge preservation and transfer.
Learning skills:
By the end of the workshop, students will have developed the learning skills required to continue their studies in keeping with their own research interests. In order to meet this objective, students will also develop relevant skills in the independent interpretation of sources and in the use of basic IT tool for bibliographic research.

Prerequisites for admission
Prior knowledge is not requested, except what is required for admission to the Degree Course.
Teaching methods
The workshop meetings will combine frontal lectures and project work. In the frontal lectures, the lecturer will expound on the main topics and on the techniques that can be used to write a project. Project works, on the other hand, will be moments of practice within which the students will be able to put into practice in small groups the notions learned, developing step-by-step project proposals in response to real calls for proposals. In this way, the methodology of learning by doing will be favored, which encourages students' appropriation of what they have learned from a theoretical point of view.
Teaching Resources
Students will be provided with the slides used in the course.
Assessment methods and Criteria
During the workshop participants will be required to engage in practical activities, that will be evaluated in a specific return session. Participation and attendance during the workshop will also be evaluated.
