Learning objectives
The laboratory helps students consolidate their skills about history of classical art.
Expected learning outcomes
The laboratory is intended as a field test of the skills acquired in the classroom on the history of Greek and Roman art. By visiting archaeological areas and museums, students are given the great opportunity to improve their awareness and knowledge about what is in the books.

In the academic year 22-23 the travel laboratory will have Athens and island Greece as its destination, with particular reference to the Cyclades islands (Naxos, Paros, Delos, Santorini), where the first expressions of great Greek sculpture and architecture are developed .
Prerequisites for admission
Special prerequisites are not requested for admission.
Teaching methods
Some lectures are scheduled in the classroom, also through the intervention of external professionals. These lectures are intended in preparation for the content addressed later on during the trip. The trip consists of visits to museums, private collections, exhibitions, archaeological areas and monuments, introduced by the professor in charge of the laboratory and discussed together with the students partecipants.
