Learning objectives
The workshop is an initiative of the Research Unit L'immaginario spaziale fra letteratura e geografia and, in the wake of previous experiences, offers students the opportunity to strengthen their ability to think creatively and academically about literary texts through the production of multimedia content. Thanks to benchmark lessons and hands-on activities, students will become familiar with the fundamentals of coding, social media and languages for digital publishing so that they can then autonomously produce cross-media content, taking on the role of Web Editors and Social Media Managers. The workshop activities will assist the students in re-mediating the literary text in a networked as well as digital context.
Expected learning outcomes
Upon completing the workshop, attendees will be able to: use information and communication technologies critically, consciously and for scientific-dissemination purposes; create content characterised by scientific rigour and respectful of the requirements of usability and accessibility; master various languages in function of media analysis and production; work in team. Each student will also have created their own e-portfolio visible to the public on the website geolitterae (https://geolitterae.unimi.it/) as well as acquired essential skills for today's job market.
