The course aims to provide knowledge in the field of agricultural economics.
The course will provide:
· the concepts and tools for analyzing the agri-food sector,
· the methods and tools for the economic analysis of the farms,
· the main statistical sources for the economic and agricultural analysis,
· the implications and interactions between the agri-food system and the environment

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
· Understand the dynamics of the agro-industrial system
· Draft and analyze farm's balance sheets
· Use agricultural and economic statistical sources -
· Assess the economic impact of environmental protection measures
