Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological tools to deepen the relationship between law and vulnerability, with special regard to children, by promoting a form of legal education, characterized by the collaboration between legal practitioners and social reality, thus giving particular space to law in action.
Through participants' active involvement , the course will foster the understanding of the social dimension of legal issues and the awareness of the social role of the legal profession, not only in terms of professionalism but also of soft skills such as active listening, non-judgment, while providing students with the opportunity to experiment the importance of guaranteeing access to justice for even the most fragile subjects.

Course syllabus
The course is divided into two parts. The first part will consist of methodological (on the clinical-legal method), theoretical (on the concept of vulnerability), and legal (on the children's law).
The second part, of a practical nature, focuses on the rights of minors. The students, with the collaboration of lawyers and other legal practitioners, will work on concrete cases and participate in activities promoted by Save the Children in Milan.
Prerequisites for admission
The course is aimed at 20 third, fourth and fifth-year students who have taken at least one Procedure exam.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Attendance of the course is mandatory. The final evaluation, expressed as 'approved' / 'not approved', will take place on the basis of active participation and a short report at the end of the course.
