Learning objectives
Understanding of the phenomena related to degenerative, inflammatory, neoplastic and dysmetabolic pathologies with particular regard to the manifestations affecting the foot integrated by notions of microbiology and general and specific hygiene.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to explain the various mechanisms underlying tissue damage, responses and their repair processes.

Course syllabus
- Understand the phenomena related to degenerative, phlogistic, neoplastic and dysmetabolic pathology with particular regard to the manifestations affecting the foot summarized by notions of microbiology and general and specific hygiene.
To know the causes and mechanisms of cellular and tissue damage. To understand the functioning of defense systems and tissue repair process. To know the basics of general oncology and dysmetabolic diseases. Particular attention will be paid to manifestations affecting the foot.
