Learning objectives
The course aims to provide knowledge of radioprotection and related legal principles, organization of the public health system and on food aspects related to the risk of developing diseases of the oral cavity.

Prerequisites for admission
Knowledge of anatomy,hygiene, general and periodontal pathology and prevention is required.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The exam consists of a written test with multiple choice questions.
Preliminary discussion on clinical and radiological images could be applied.
Diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy
Course syllabus
Radiological anatomy of head and neck, basic radiology techniques (orthopantomography, endo-oral radiography), computed tomography, cone-beam computed tomography. Use of centerers. Parodontal radiology and radiological semeiotics of oral tumors.
Teaching methods
Oral lectures with the use of Power Point presentations. Slides are given directly to students.
