- To understand the growth and development of the maxillary and mandibular bones
- To be able to diagnose malocclusions by traditional and innovative instruments
- To understand clinical use of orthodontic devices based on growth and orthodontic diagnosis
- To recognize the principles of orthodontic and dental movements by removable and fixed appliances
- To be able to recognise the main genetic and systemic diseases and their diagnostic and therapeutic approach
- To be able to take the medical history, intra- and extra-oral photography, study impressions and their meaning
- To be able to perform cephalometric traces on CBCT, to be able to perform instrumental examinations like electrognatography and postural diagnosis
- To be able to recognise the clinical application of orthodontic appliances
