Learning objectives
The course is the intermediate moment of learning/acquisition of the Spanish language as part of the three-year study of the foreign language. Theoretically, it introduces the linguistic analysis in Spanish, at the phrasal level and at the textual level. On a practical level, the aim is to lead students to the acquisition of communicative skills suitable for reading literary texts and for short oral and written productions in daily life, corresponding to level B1 of the CEFR.
Expected learning outcomes
The expected results in terms of knowledge and understanding are that the student understands the mechanisms of Spanish syntax and text grammar, identifies the tools of coherence and cohesion, recognizes the functions of discourse markers of written text and punctuation. The expected results in terms of applied skills are the student's ability to assimilate the basic concepts of syntax, to apply the different mechanisms of coherence and cohesion, to make appropriate use of the discourse markers of the written text and to use punctuation in Spanish correctly. In addition, B1 level is expected for all linguistic-communicative activities: reception (listening and reading), text production, presentations and oral interactions.
